Ira - John Vincent Orzell died suddenly at his home Wednesday, A native of Poland, he has lived in this country for more than 50 years. He was a retired employeee of the Central Commercial Co. in Castleton where he was employed for 45 years. He was a communicant of St. Stanilslaus Church, West Rutland.
Born Jan 3 1894, he was the son of Joseph and Sophie (Malota) Orzell. Surviving are his widow, the former Antoinette Dydo: three sons, Frank A. Orzell of West Rutland and John V. Orzell Jr. and Stanley W. Orzell, both of Bristol, Conn : five daughters, Mrs Roy Stafford, Mrs. Frank Konopka and Mrs. Raymond Pencikowski all of Bristol. Mrs. Sigimund Sapinski of Mechanicsville, NY., and Mrs. Anthony Grabowski of West Rutland and 16 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at St. Stanislaus Church at 9 a.m. Entombment will be in the vault in St. Bridget's Cemetery. Friends may call at the Mullins Funeral Home. West Rutland Thursday and Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
